Our Flagship Product - The Travel Hammock
You’ve probably heard the saying, “You don’t need to reinvent the wheel.” Solid advice, right? So, what did we do? We went ahead and reinvented the hammock instead.
Our goal was simple: create a hammock that delivers the same comfort you’d expect from a traditional hammock, but with the added adventure factor. We wanted something that could be packed up tight and light — a hammock that would never end up in the “too big to bring” pile when you’re gearing up for your next trip.
Weighing in at well under 1 kg and packing down smaller than most camping gear, there’s no excuse to leave the Twill Outdoors hammock behind. It’s the perfect addition to any adventure.
But don’t be fooled by its size — while it’s compact, it’s built to last.
When it came to choosing the fabric, we didn’t cut corners. We went with 68gsm diamond-grid nylon with triple-stitched seams — the same material used in parachutes. If this fabric can handle the force of two people leaping out of a plane at 20,000 feet, it’s more than strong enough to hold you and your favourite person a few feet above the ground.
Then we focused on the elegance factor. Our design inspiration? The very trees the hammocks hang between. We didn’t want the hammock to take away from the natural beauty around you, but to be an extension of it. From the colourways to the sheen of the fabric, every detail has been carefully crafted to blend seamlessly into the great outdoors.
