About these terms

These terms apply when you use twilloutdoors.com or buy from us. Twill Outdoors is a trading name operated by Flynn Grey, a sole trader based in New Zealand. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Our refund, shipping and privacy policies form part of these terms.

Your consumer rights come first

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other law that can't be excluded. If a term here conflicts with those rights, your rights win.

Products and prices

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Colours can look slightly different on different screens.
Prices are in New Zealand dollars. Standard shipping is free; express costs are shown at checkout.
If we list something at the wrong price by obvious mistake, we'll contact you before sending it, and you can cancel for a full refund.

Orders

Your order is accepted when we send your order confirmation email.
We may cancel an order (with a full refund) if a product is unavailable, or if we suspect fraud.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners. We don't see or store your full card details.

Delivery, returns and warranty

Safe use

Please follow the setup and safety guidance that comes with your hammock and on our How it works page: check the straps, carabiners and fabric before every use; use live, healthy trees or solid posts; hang it low; stay within the 200 kg recommended maximum load; and keep an eye on children.

Using our website

Please don't misuse the site, for example by trying to break into it, copying it, or using it for anything unlawful.
The content, photos and designs on the site belong to Twill Outdoors or are used with permission. Please don't reuse them without asking.
We may link to other websites. We're not responsible for their content.

Liability

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not taking reasonable care. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act or the Fair Trading Act.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on the site when you place an order applies to that order.

Law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts have jurisdiction. If you live outside New Zealand, you may also have protections under your local law that these terms don't take away.
